Model in a Bottle review

Ok, Model in a Bottle review, yay!

I used it yesterday when I had to host a Lia Sophia party and figured it was the perfect time to test it out! It's amazing. My makeup was still on the next morning. I was so tired I just went to bed, basically said screw it to my makeup remover haha.

It's nice, you spray it 10-12 inches from your face, and wait 20 seconds before opening your eyes. It set EVERYTHING. My makeup looked flawless, airbrushed even. I touch my face alot, and with this it didn't matter because nothing moved.

It is NOT sticky at all. It kind of feels like a very, VERY thin layer of some sort of silicone over your face. Not in a bad way at all. Before you spray it, it feels like you have your normal makeup on, after you spray it, it feels like nothing is on your face at all.

Compared to MAC's fix+, I would definitely choose this one. MAC's spray always has a little stickiness on my face. And personally, their spray makes me look dewy in an, it's not an internal glow, it looks like the glow is seeping out of me. I got the Model in a Bottle formulation in matte, to try to counteract that. To each their own though!

I would highly recommend this product if you want your makeup to STAY on your face. I personally love it. Like I said, I touch my face a lot - when I got home from the party I even tried to rub off an eyebrow, not one single fleck of black on my finger. I am very impressed!

Also, don't forget, on the 24th the sale at Lia Sophia ends, a portion of the proceeds goes to Relay for Life, so get your jewelry fix and help out a great cause!

  1. That sounds awesome! I have been wanting a setting spray like that, and have been eyeing Urban Decay's "All Nighter" setting spray. I am wondering how it would compare to this one. Hmm...

  3. I wonder how this compares to Urban Decay's "De-Slick?" I have been looking at purchasing something similar...especially being in this Florida heat with oily skin...yikes!!
