I love Mexican food. Yes, I love all the Italian food I had growing up, but to me that's everyday stuff. I love fajitas and yes, Taco Bell. Hahaha... yo quiero taco bell ;]

Day 23 - Place where you want to live (30 Days of Beauty)

Another random question on a beauty tag... um, ok haha :]

Let's see, I want to live somewhere where there is summer and fall. I have had my life full of heavy winters. Growing up in Vermont, I've seen quite a bit of snow. I don't like it! I've put some thought into this question before, and I think I'd like Arizona, Georgia, Texas... but I hate humidity. It turns my hair into a 'fro!

I've also thought about moving to Italy to be where my father and his side of my family lives. They literally live 2 steps away from the southern most tip of Italy in Calabria. I'm Mediterranean! So are my genes :] Take a look at what they get to see everyday when they wake up...

It is a tourist attraction in the summer, but the weather never changes. It's so beautiful! But it's going to be realllllly expensive to move all my stuff there, not to mention I should probably learn more Italian! But again, I have a TON of family that lives there, some of whom I've never met, I think it would be amazing.

Great, now I want to go to the beach!

Day 22 - What makes you happy

MAKEUP!

I love that makeup can transform someone. First off, I am a person who looks COMPLETELY different without makeup on, so I love it for that reason. And the feeling of doing someone's makeup and seeing how great you made them feel is priceless. Makeup is my art, and your face is my canvas. I really like trying everything new. I'm always looking for the newest stuff to try out and review. Who knows? It may become part of my permanent collection!

Day 21 - Your favourite lip stick

Oh this one is going to be hard! 

I have a few faves, I have my go to color that goes with everything because it's "my lips only better", I'm really trying to get a good nude down for my skin tone... it is very hard for me! 

If any of you have similar coloring to mine, help a girl out! Seriously...

Ok, so my "go to, MLBB" color is Spirit by MAC.

It looks very red in this picture, but if you look at MY HAUL POST, you can see a swatch. It's not really that bold :] I got this from a legit seller on eBay that I've been buying from for over a year. I don't invest my money in lipsticks. I'd rather spend it on concealer, foundation, and shadow!

Now, when hautelook.com was having their Rock&Republic blowout, I got the lipgloss in Trainwreck. Again, check my HAUL VIDEO to see the gloss and what else I picked up. But this color is perfect, it's a nice brownish color with very, very fine gold shimmer. I really hate frosty or shimmery lips on me, so obviously it isn't a shimmer gloss. Here's a pic of my new holy grail lip gloss...

You really can't see this gloss well. The picture is way too small, but you get the general idea!

So for now, this is what I'm using. 

I'm not a big gloss girl, I much prefer lipsticks, so I really need your help! 

Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee, if you have naturally purple-ish reddish pigmented lips, and an olive/yellow complexion, let me know a good nude! 

Preferably one I can use on its own without a gloss :]

Day 20 - Your favourite mascara (30 Days of Beauty)

Yes, I am aware that I skipped day 19. I didn't do any post but my OWWWP one, plus 19 was boring. Hahaaa.

So, I have shot to day 20. This is a good one for a BEAUTY tag. The other ones are sorta... unrelated.

I wear 2 mascaras. I put on my Maybelline Falsies in Black Drama first, and while it's still semi-wet, I put on L'oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black. It's a really good combo, try it if you have the mascaras. I use waterproof formulas in both, by the way.

Now, some may have heard that the Falsies mascara makes your eyelashes fall out. Let me just say that there was ONE woman who had an allergic reaction to the formula. DON'T go throwing out your mascara! Like all cosmetics, what doesn't work for one may work for another :]

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!

So here's mine :]

I used Fashion Bug nailpolishes. They are really cheap, but amazingly opaque and tough! I have 2 coats of the neon pink on, and an overlay of a clear red glitter polish :]  It sucks the camera didn't pick up the glitter because it is sooooo pretty, and surprisingly fine. These are actually my daughter's, but when I used them on her the first time I was dying to use them on myself. Today was the day!

Day 18 - Your favourite beauty guru (30 Days of Beauty)

I love all the guru's I'm subbed to on youtube, but Jarmaine is definitely my favorite to actually watch. She's so funny, and makes me litterally LOL.

She does makeup, haircare, skincare, the works. Reviews, all that kind of thing. She's like a chihuahua on speed! I love her, don't judge.

Her youtube name is jlovesmac1. I highly suggest you check her out if you haven't seen her yet! She should seriously have her own tv show. Plus, she's real and informative while being comedic!

Day 17 - Fashion piece on your wish list (30 Days of Beauty)

Hmm, this is a good one... It unfortunately made my wishlist a little longer ;]

Let's see, I'll post some pictures of a few.

I want these. I don't know who makes them, but I love them. I'm usually not a fan of bows, but I like this one :]

I LOVE this gold Chanel cuff. I'm a big chain lover, and it's gold (in a world where most jewelry is silver)

 

Classic Tiffany's charm necklace. A "maybe one day" essential. 

And... a Patrice Bergeron jersey. I love him. Such a cutie. Plays hockey pretty good, too ;]

So yeah, I could totally have made this the longest post ever! Everyone can go on and on about things they want! I'm not really into clothing in a purchasing sense, I like to have basic staples and accessorize!

Um, I don't really wear bracelets. I wish I could though! My big Italian bones prohibit bangles :/

Day 16 — Music you like

I like anything that goes to the rhythm in my head. And anything that speaks to me or makes me wanna dance. That's a wide range.

On another note, today at Walgreens I picked up a nail polish that might just be my new favorite summer color. It's called "Summer Peach" by Sinful Colors... Let me try and find a picture...

Awesome right?! The brightest, most neon orange I have ever seen and I LOVE it. I also love Sinful Colors because they are matte... I have a purple one that I like to wear matte, and with this orange, I just put my Seche Vite over it (and if you don't know what that is, get $5 and go buy it, best top coat EVER!!).

Day 14 - Photo of a hairstyle/haircut you’d like to have (30 Days of Beauty)

I have had so many different styles and colors, but there is one haircut I LOVE but would never be able to pull it off. It's a bummer. It is Victoria Beckham's razor cut!

Not only would I love this haircut, I'd really like to be able to be a really nice looking blonde color. My natural hair color is the darkest brown (looks black, in the sun looks brown), and I have tried to be "blonde" so many times. All I get is either red and brassy, or, white/yellow and my hair is falling out. It must be nice to have a hired beauty team!!
